Lack of Mother’s Love Leads to Self Destruction Essay

In D. H. Lawrence’s short story â€Å"The Rocking-Horse Winner,† Paul’s assurance, long for affection and pointlessness result from an absence of adoration from his mom. Living in a family that compares cash with karma, and love, Paul misjudges what he needs to do to be viewed as effective. The consequence of his mother’s self retention and general frigidity makes Paul in the end ride his karma as far as possible of his life in a bombed look for affection.
